UPS
An Uninterruptable Power Supply will keep your ZMS system running for a short time if there is a power loss. Most power losses are only of a few seconds duration or less but they crash computer systems potentially causing database corruption or hard drive failure. Our smart UPS has parachute software to shut your PC down safely to avoid data loss. Cost is under £400+VAT including installation.

Back-up Hard Drive
A hard drive failure is not just an inconvenience. You can lose all of your parking data including valuable information on occupancy, revenues and maintenance records. This can have severe operational and compliance implications.
Zeag provides a simple way to back up your data weekly (or as regularly as you like) to a separate hard drive. Sophisticated software does this automatically for you with no need for operators to remember back up procedures.
We install a separate 80Gb drive into your ZMS PC, configure ZMS to perform the regular backup and commission and test. Cost is under £800+VAT.

Warning Sounders and Beacons
Health and Safety issues sometimes require a warning to be given when machinery is operating. This can be a 2-tone sounder to warn of barrier lowering or an amber flashing beacon. Both can be the safer solution.

Keyswitch
Do you need to put the barrier up to allow large vehicles through or to cvoer periods when the site is unused or unmanned. An easily accessible keyswitch can raise the barrier without opening the door. Cost from £95 per barrier.

Barrier Broken Indicator
Would it be useful to know that the barrier arm has broken off? A micro-switch can provide remote indication, either displaying on the screen in ZMS (Orion or Flexipark) or via sounder or beacon. Cost from £95/barrier.

Pegasus Upgrade
Original Pegasus barriers can be upgraded by replacing the relay logic control panels with the latest solid state microprocessor controlled units. Available from £550 per barrier.

Safety Switches
Parking equipment operates on mains voltage and some equipment such as barriers have moving parts which can cause injury. We offer a range of upgrades to ensure safe access and only by authorised personnel. Ticket dispensers and readers, PayStations and Barriers can have safety switches fitted to the doors which disable the unit while the door is open, allowing maintenance and other essential work to be carried out in safety. Safety Edge
Car park barrier arms are made from lightweight alloy but if someone is walking underneath when it comes down it can still cause a nasty bump. A rubber bump strip along the bottom edge of the barrier arm can soften the impact. Cost from £150 per barrier.

Barrier Arms
Light alloy barrier arms are available. Arms up to 5 metres are available in square section - longer arms are tubular. Standard colour is blue with white banding but alternatives can be provided. Advertising on barriers is also available. Adapter plates are also available to attach modern arms to older barriers. Cost from £95 per barrier.
